Our Team

Michelle started working in the dental field when she was 15 years old and still in high school. Her experience in the dental field began as an expanded duties auxiliary and licensed dental radiographer, after receiving her certificates from the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry. In January of 2008 she joined Dr. Darryl Fields’ periodontal dental team. Michelle says: “Working here is such a joy, not only is Dr Field an amazing surgeon, but our team members are also genuine, professional and great at what they do. It truly is an honor to be able to be a part of a place that truly cares for their patients and works so well together, I believe that patients can sense this too.” On her free time you can find her with her husband, four girls, two grandsons, two granddaughters and an energetic lil’ Jack Russell puppy. She loves God and is active in her church. Her latest hobby is painting.

carmen dental hygienist
I have been a dental hygienist since 2005. I graduated from the FCCJ dental hygiene program in 2003. Then I worked in a cosmetic dentistry practice since 2007. I enjoy changing the way people feel about dentistry and making it a pleasant experience. I prefer periodontology to general dentistry because I know we are truly saving our patients’ health. I love to travel, ride bikes at the beach, and spin class at the gym.
monica surgical assistant
I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida. During my first few years of school I assisted in an oral surgery office in South Florida. While continuing my education in Jacksonville, I worked with Dr. Field assisting part time. After graduation I worked at Shands Jacksonville in patient education before returning to work with Dr. Field full time. I enjoy assisting with a wide range of surgeries and take pride in catering to the unique needs of each patient during their visit. In my free time I enjoy running, biking and tennis.
